Counterfeit policy
Only genuine items can be sold on Doolaby. Buyers need to trust what they buy, so we take fakes seriously and act in the buyer's interest.
Not allowed
Counterfeits, replicas, "first copy", "master copy", "AAA" or "1:1" items, and anything sold as "inspired by" a brand while using that brand's name or logo. If you are not sure an item is genuine, do not list it.
Your promise
When you list an item, or send items to Doolaby Managed, you confirm they are genuine. We keep a record of that confirmation.
Three strikes
- Each item we confirm is counterfeit is removed and counts as a strike on your account.
- A strike lasts 12 months. If you have three strikes at the same time, your account is suspended for 6 months.
- Listings that use words like "replica", "first copy" or "AAA quality" cannot be published.
- In serious cases, such as knowingly selling fakes, we can close an account straight away.
Money from a sale of a counterfeit item is never paid to the seller. The buyer is refunded.
If you think something you bought is fake
- Before you buy, press "Think it's fake? Tell us" on the item. Our team looks at every report.
- After it arrives, report a problem from the order page before you confirm the order. Your payment stays on hold while we look into it.
- We may ask the seller for proof it is genuine, such as the receipt, photos of labels, serial numbers or authenticity cards.
- Where needed, the item may be sent to an independent authentication service.
- If it cannot be shown to be genuine, you get a full refund.
Doolaby Managed
Every item sent to Doolaby Managed is checked by our team at quality control. Items we believe are not genuine are not accepted, and count as a strike.
